Everything- from the quote (saying/song lyric/poem), to the color of the background, to the color of the 5x7 wood frame, to the font can be customized to fit your home’s décor and/or the receiver’s taste. If you see something you like on one of my other listings feel free to convo. me and I can easily make it happen.

Too much to think about? Like it just the way it is? You can always order the above piece “as is” except with your own personalization (names, dates, etc.).

When you are checking out I need the following questions answered in THE NOTES TO SELLER BOX in order to get started on your proof:

4) MOUNTED 5x7 FRAME VERTICAL OR HORIZONTAL?
5) FRAME POSITION if desired: (If you like how the frame is positioned on one of my other plaques in my shop centered, bottom left, top right, etc.- I can usually make it happen on your piece too).
6) THAT’S IT! As soon as I receive your invoice-I will get right to work on your proof. You will have your custom proof in your Etsy Conversation inbox 1-2 days after purchase. I am more than happy to make changes/additions once you see your proof.*
*If you asked to have your item customized in any way (even if it is just a name or date change)- you will need to approve your proof before I will proceed with completing your custom piece.

Each 16”x16”custom piece is hand-cut from solid pine; the edges are then sanded and stained by hand to give them a warm aged look. Your design is then professionally printed, mounted to the pine board, and a matte finish is hand-painted to the front to give it a textured look. What makes these art plaques unique is your picture is then “framed” with a hand-painted 5x7 solid wood frame that is mounted to the front of the piece to give it depth. I then hand-cut an opening out of the back of the board so that you can easily insert your 5x7 picture (essentially just like a “regular” frame).
