Custom Wedding Cake Topper Couple with Four Pets
This is a listing for a super sweet, wooden Star House likeness of you and your beloved and four sweet pets, ready for celebration and decoration atop your wedding cake. The photos accompanying this listing are an example of one of the many sets that I have created for folks. These toppers currently take about 6 weeks to make from purchase to post office bon voyage.
The process:
*1* Decide that you would like me to design and make your toppers. Please make sure the above time frame works for you. If you have any questions or would like to request a rush order (and would like me to calculate/apporve it/ create you a custom listing) please convo me.
*2* Select a listing or listings from the current listings in my shop. There are also listings for folks who would like just a couple, a large Sweetheart Tree, one sweet pet, a child, or a combination of these additions. There are also listings for stumps stands, pointy sticks and eco finish if you would like to add these to your topper.

*4* Send me photos (at least one close-up of the two of you and at least one that shows your height difference) of you both. Please send me photos or links or descriptions of what you will be wearing. Please include shoe colors, hair styles, and details like glasses on or off. Please include your ideas and symbols that you would like me to include. Oh yes, if you would be so kind as to let me know some of the details of your wedding, like your cake flavor or theme, that would be great. This is just so I can get excited about your event and picture you there, day dream about it as I sketch or create your topper. You can send all these wonderful details to me in an esty convo as long as the files are smaller than 2M. If your files are larger you can send them to me in an email to urastarhouse [!at] yahoo.com.
Please be sure to title the email "topper information" or something noticeable like that.
*5* I will take about three business days to create a pencil and paper sketch. I will then scan and send the sketch to you through email or convo (which ever way you gave me your details). You can then let me know what changes or additions you would like me to make. I will them scan you a modified sketch for your approval. Any additional changes will follow the same process of modification, scanning and approval until you say that you think the sketch is ready to transfer to wood.
*6* I then transfer the final design to local poplar wood (a fast growing hardwood sustainably logged from our friends' land near Asheville, NC). I cut the design out, sand the edges, burn on the details, and paint it with US made, non-toxic liquid water colors. I then take photos of the toppers (if there is time) and send you photos (these photos are for you to use how ever you would like, thank-you cards, blogs, ect. and if it is alright with you I will add then to a listing in my shop to be another example). The toppers are then finished with my homemade bee's wax and organic jojoba oil finish. The toppers are polished and then packaged and taken down to the friendly folks at my local post office, where they are shipped first class (unless they are too heavy) and generally arrive to your post/mail box in two to three days.
The toppers will be between 4" and 6 1/2" tall and about 2"-2 1/2" wide. If you need then to be sized differently for your cake just let me know.
